Agree that it's a hit and miss. At the end of the day, it depends how they handle complaints about faulty mugs. If they refund or replace the bad mugs, then it's great. Some do, some don't.

The dimpled / pin pricked mugs were Listawood. I put them to one side as I used to supply a cafe whose mugs got broken / lost so often that they just wanted cheap and cheerful. Alas the cafe owner retired and sold the business and now it's a posh coffee shop. The cafe was a good money earner for me and the owner. The posh coffee shop is struggling. Mug of tea and sausage sandwich was a winning formula in a low income area.
So no idea of Listawood policy on dealing with them.
Again it appears I am of no help!

I use Signzworld. Only once had problems and they refunded the damaged / broken mugs straight away. I cant fault them.

We use Dye Sublimation Supplies and there's rarely a mug we can't use. It's a shame they don't stock all the colours we use.
For those we have to use Listawood and I agree with the consensus about inconsistency and quality issues. In our last pallet from Listawood we even got some with another brand printed on the bottom "TASSENTICKER".

I began experiencing a similar thing with Listawood mugs around September/October time. Lots of mugs arriving with dimples, dweird handles and pin prinks. Prior to this I never had a problem with them and had used them for years. They are really good about replacing them but after the 3rd or 4th order arriving having the same issues I stopped ordering. I was hoping there was some bad batches and would go back to normal in the new year.

Fingers crossed they get it sorted.
In the meantime, I was just taking a look at the BMS European RN coated mugs (which I notice BMS also guarantee for a year)...
Has anyone here used these who could advise whether they're a good alternative?

My post from May 2019when searching for a new mug:
"So next, I tried two boxes of BMS European Premium RN coated 10oz mugs. I've got an entire box of rejects and quite a few misprints. These were shocking quality."

Bugger. And so the search continues.
I just wish I knew where the hotel I used to work for got their printed coffee mugs from. - Even the heavy duty pot wash machine with it's salt and cleaning solution didn't seem to affect the print.
