Used Adkins swing presses do come up and sell for under £400 occasionally, the budget is set by what things cost rather than what you can afford or want to spend if you want the best chance of good resuts and in Adkins favour you will get your money back if you decide to sell up, I'm not so sure about cheaper or unbranded presses, many give up as a result of buying cheap inferior equipment and struggle to get satisfactory results.
