If there is a warranty claim Sawgrass will need to see the original invoice from the authorised distributor to invoke the 12 month warranty. Ricoh won't provide support if you put SubliJetR inks in the printer.
Ricoh replaced my printer no problem they dotn even ask what inks in it they PRESUME its their own ink , so any issues popped their own ink in (setup inks you were supplied) call them and they will create an RMA , my first 3110 was replaced this way my new replacement is working fine on NON SAWGRAS inks .

Dan, did you order sawgrass inks ?
looking to get some myself, was going to go the sawgrass route, but having real difficulty justifying the cost, for what I will need.
i already have empty carts for the 3110 but just need to bite the bullet and try some
decisions decisions, any suggestions lol

Most suppliers don't send the original Ricoh ink carts with the printers as too many times customers think they have an extra set of SubliJetR inks and mess up the printers. We've bucket loads of genuine carts - keeps our ordinary office printers going for years

Well new printer arrived yesterday
Not as easy to setup as I thought. I think it's all done now. (I'm using a Mac)
My first mug on new printer and I have to say the colour match is much better
