Funnily enough my friend bought one of the kits when he went on Monday, they said it came with two sets of print cartridges so he just opened up and used the set that came in the box with the printer...... was the wrong ones.. cheaper to buy a new 2600 than flush the ink through ooooops.
Need to sit and see whether an A3 printer is really worth paying the extra for over A4, i am guessing it allows more to be printed in a single print, which is fine so long as the paper isnt double the cost, or am i missing something here??

The A3 printer also takes larger capacity cartridges so you save on ink going forward. The A4 GXe3300 takes 29ml cartridges at a cost of £40 +vat per cartridge - the A3 GXe7700 takes 60ml cartridges at £60 +vat per cartridge.
Bit naughty if the "two" sets of ink cartridges includes the set of genuine cartridges which are of no use whatsoever. Surely this wasn't the case, was it?

No, the offer is for 2 sets of ink, obviously a mistake

When he rang to complain he mentioned it was advertised as two sets of ink to be told it was one set sub, one set normal, but for sub printing he should only use the correct inks heheheh.
He moaned a bit and they sold him a printer for £75 rather than having to flush it all through, they did say they used to take the std set out, but people complained, so now they ship with two sets of inks - bit silly or even a little misleading....?

I believe so yes, he bought a statup kit that included two sets of inks, printer, press (combined shirt and mug i believe).

The 2 sets of in may well have been just for the show. Looking at the website I would say the deal he was given was one set of subli inks.

well whatever it was, he got and installed std inks then was allowed to purchase a new printer at cost as the ink cost to re-flush would be to high
