Well my better half and self went to the show on Sunday and as 'newbies' to dyesub we were like kids in a candy store....wow what a lot to take in and dream of owning. We have been doing cut and print vinyl for about three years and decided recently to look into dyesub after gettng a lot of requests for race shirts/teamwear etc....and boy did the show give us food for thought. Suffice to say it's going to be a Ricoh 7700 and mug press to go with the Stahls maxx we just bought....all we need now is a couple of weeks to get set up...practice...waste a few of everything and it's fun time.

I hope you 'old timers' remember starting out on something new like this.....you'll know how we felt at the show....bags and bags of samples, aching feet and sore heads from trying to take it all in.......

There was me, Justin, ALJA, mrs maggot and logobear, plus those from the listawood stand, a keg of beer, few bottles of beer and few bottles of wine . Was good to meet you earlier - even if you did wander round the coffee stand shouting out 'nursey' because you had no idea who I was.
I have just gone through all the bags I came home with and have a great selection of Catalogues and samples now to go with previous years' collections

Was hoping to get a sort of discount on a mugpress but no one appeared to be doing this. Which one did you go for Stu?

All in all we enjoyed the show, it was much smaller than usual and it "was" dominated by the clothing but for me that suited just fine' I am forever ordering samples and when they get here they are just not quite right. I found a few perefct ranges for our new designs and dad is sorted with inks for his new machine, so a fruitfull day for us and worth the visit.

The day was of course made even better by the generous hospitality of Listawood, the flowing bubbly and chicken sticks (well me and Karen enjoyed them!) and the opprtunity to meet a few forum members.
I spent the day scrutinising every one who "might" be a member and looking for a clue, the first to spot was Laura, maybe the hair gave you away?
Really enjoyed meeting you guys and would have liked to stay a little longer but hey ho. Can't beleive we missed smitch with his daffodil, shame I didn't see the telephone numbers on here until today.
Great to meet you all.

Oh and ps. Justin no "fashion tips" your doing a great job with the forum.
