In the spreadsheet, JP11, is that a vacuum wrap for a standard 10/11 ounce mug? That could be interesting, but would need a machine able to take more than one of them at a time.
Can they do custom mouldings for silicone vacuum wrap things???

Nice one :-) I do feel we're all hitting this from different directions. As none of us are interested in supplying the Uk market surely we'd do better to get our heads together and negotiate a better deal? Not sure if your supplier is same as mine bigj. Also be good if we source from the same place for comparison and support etc?

I agree, looking to buy everything, full setup, ideally 2 machines.

I think with the interest here, a group buy could work on these, especially with the given prices, and some sort of small commission/percentage to whoever wants to do the organising would be fair, to the point that even with the commission, the savings on buying as a group would mean the individuals buying are still better off than if they'd bought on their own.

Am I right ink thinking some printers can't print onto the film??? More an issue of the film not being recognised in the printer?

er....

the person buying for the group - if ANYTHING buggers up on the machine, its on the head of the buyer/importer to sort/replace/refund as who you sell to will have no other
contact but the importer here in UK....

CE TESTED ....have they legally been tested/stamped ? they have the proper doc/paper work to prove it ?...would also still get them checked here in UK by someone qualified - more money if done right.

then there is the talk of - someone buy from importer, plugs it in, and gets a new hair do in the process - he/she heads off to there solicitor to call on S.U.E. - so the proper liability insurance will have to be had....its ok saying here on a forum, yes joe blogs buys in 20 machines and sells them to the guys on the forum...we are all friends here...true, TILL SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THE MACHINE, then the friendly forum buddy goes right out the window, along with any reputation you have , or had

its NOT THAT SIMPLE GUYS

If these machiens are as good as we all seem to think (hope) they are, why on earth wouldn't a UK supplier take them on?

Would there be a way of officially/legally each individual is buying from the manufacturer, and the forum member is just coordinating things?

Sounds to me like Paul has the best possible contact and is getting reliable information. Maybe there's a way we can sort something where everyone just pays on an individual basis as pisquee suggests but price is based upon all orders coming in........that could be interesting!

Like I say, if the machines are up to it I'm sure someone would take on the import and support. Personally I don't want to do anything until I've tested and stripped one.
