That's interesting, thanks for your input.

I think I will buy a few other sheets from somewhere else to compare.

The annoying thing is, when i lift the metal from the sheet, the edges are perfect and you can see them quickly turning white, presumably as the air gets in. Weird.

May I also suggest ensuring the bed of the press is nice and warm prior to pressing? I always find that if the bed is cold, it can affect the transfer on some items (especially aluminium) dramatically. The solid black edge on that image you posted showed signs of under cooking in addition to the dodgy edge...

The is a video on YouTube from Conde with their method for pressing large sheets of Chromaluxe.
It show them preheating the panel with paper on top in the press to get rid of any moisture in the metal/coating, and then pressing with the transfer paper taped on top, so that when the press is opened you can quickly pull the transfer off in one quick motion.

Though not really solving your problem, it is good to watch the video for general tips on metal printing.
