ok my Water Bottles are here from Listawood (Aluminium, white - 600ml) and I intend to use a Mouse Mat as the spacer as the sheet above is too thick (Bottle is 72mm).

What times and temps are you using the these - Justin, you said you have done thousands, as you have the same press as me I guess you would be best to answer this ?

I press for 50 seconds at 200 degrees and perfect results every time (think I did 1500 ish last month). These were white 400ml ali bottles from Listawood using a Genie (Listawood) Heat press and the correct blanket.

If you are using a mouse mat as a spacer I think you are going to have to up everything considerably and be prepared to spunk quite a few before you get it right as the heat absorption is probably quite high in a mat.

Good luck

"1500ish" - with that amount I'm not surprised you have the proper blanket.

I have 9 spare I can Spunk..lol.

Ah, just discovered its the 'Porcelain' blanket that's needed for these bottles - that will take most of the profit from this first run.

Can hardly see across the room for the 'Rubber' smoke..

Well, this is a journey :) I had to cut a 3mm mouse mat to the correct 120mm width and use a piece of Teflon sheet on the rubber bit..

I'm at 210c and 105 secs at the mo.. its fun though.

I know that this doesn't really help you personally but I thought this may help others.
I have done these in my halogen oven for 12mins at 200 degrees. I can get 3 in at a time. I use a 3mm silicon baking sheet cut to size. I then use jubilee banding to hold it all in place. I know most people on here have mug presses but I find an oven a lot more convenient and there is no mucking about with blankets or heating elements.
Wrap and go !
I will add a photo later. I am off out for the evening.

Looks like I am going to get away with not buying a smaller blanket BUT I need to do something about this Mouse Mat as it will not last much longer.

Is it a 'Silicone Sheet' I need - it needs to be 3mm.

Is there any specific spec I need for this sheet?

That's perfect, I was finding Silicone sheets good up to 200c.. I need 215 so these baking sheets are just the ticket :)

It just so happens that my client is a commercial baker :)
