We use ECWID (As suggested by Paul) which nicely plugs into our websites running Wordpress, but the same shopping cart/backend also plugs into FaceBook pages (and a few other places too) one store, many shop fronts. It is monthly fee though, as they host the shop contents in a cloudy fashion.

I'm using a system from
www.create.net it's new to me but I think it's great. Once I have uploaded all my images and details I can connect it to ebay Amazon Facebook store at a click of a few buttons.

Presta Shop for me, its clumsy at times, but people are writing such good updates, and they have meet ups where you can ask for specific things to be added - if you are that way inclined, its worked well for me had it for 5yrs or so now, i can pull reports drilled down to anything i want, suits me well, has its own stock keeping attached if you want to enable it,

There are so many options for ecommerce - we are big Magento fans but have also worked with Word Press
For me the main limitation I have seen is many of the packages is that you cannot add custom software for online personalisation
if you are wanting to sell dye sub products online then you need a preview tool - I know we are biased but I think unless you are selling a fixed design nobody will buy a product online they cannot preview

I found Magento too confusing and time consuming to configure. Im a big fan of WordPress with the woocommerce plugin as it is better than the under-developed WP Ecommerce plugin. It is so easy... just take a normal WP site/theme and install the Woocommerce plugin and hey presto!.... your own online shop for free*!. Im also a very big fan of OpenCart.
* for free depending on if you have a purchased theme or a free theme.

I posted my job's on Freelancer - 'Lettering Tool Calculator' and 'Customer Image Uploader' and had quite a few bids - I was away for my Birthday for the week so sorting out meetings with potential developers was not the easiest but I managed it.
I made it very clear what the job was - here's the page I made of One of the jobs:
Ear so I didn't have to keep repeating myself.
One of the most eager to take the job wanted a meeting on a Morning before I went out, there were a few technical problems between here and India so we tried again the next day.. I eventually got to speak to the young lady who assured me they could create what I needed building for my Cubecart V5 installation. I was then asked to contact the head man - communication was an issue and in the end he was typing to me in text..
After all of this he simply said I needed Magneto, and gave me his affiliate link - to say I was a little upset was an understatement - from the very beginning I made it clear I didnt want to pay monthly for anything.. to cop out like that has left a bad taste in my mouth, and with the current problems I am having with my indian developer who is still trying to get this tool working has taught me a valuable lesson. keep jobs in the country you live in and dont believe anything anyone tells you until you can see a working version of what you want on your chosen platform made by the person you are talking to.
I'm not going to name anyone but you have to wonder why I suddenly posted this here.
