surely not :)
this is not instal. only stand alone app. it also work after rebooting. try in saving mode ;)

you could try getting superantispyware, I think this has a boot sector cleaner which is what you seem to need if there is still something there after a so-called clean up

Ive had this, download malwarebytes on a memory stick from another computer then start infected computer in safe mode load memory stick into infected computer and run when its clean, restart as normal.

A quick update, the virus destroys the firewall settings, both Microsoft and aftermarket. So even when the virus is removed, it is not possible to install a new firewall without doing a re-install.
The tech guys are very excited about it.....glad they are!

Its an old virus, you dont need to reinstall you just need to do as above and it should all be fine, google it and you will see
