Anyone else using Christan Hosting? Down for me :(

i would recommend vidahost, been with them 2 years and never missed a beat

was with few other before but now i have no reason to move.

sorry whole server is down including all my emails and everything
Tech have been working on it all day trying to fix it, but annoyingly they haven't managed to fix it yet,
hopefully it won't be down too much longer

8h is nothing. For me if is done within 24h then is all ok. I dont expect mirracles. I always contacted steve and had instant reply. Even if he is loged on he phone.

most server's will crash at some point after all, all they are are glorified computers.........
my tech have been working on it all day trying to fix it, trust me they aren't ignoring it and i'm surprised it's taken so long so it's obviously a serious crash.

but everything is safe as it gets backed up every couple of hours onto a seperate hard drive for security

as i said hopefully it'll get sorted asap

a good name is hard to earn and even harder to keep especially when times are hard and all of us are struggling including myself

I'm afraid that anything more than an hour of downtime in a year is too much, let alone 4+ hours in a day.

I use TSOHost who are a sister company of Vidahost recommended above, all our sites are hosted on a cloud so there are multiple redundant load balances, web servers, mail servers, database servers and SAN's all connected together in 1 big fat group which means several points can fail and it still works. Been with them for 10+ years now without major issue :)

see... but i do like to support my mates :wink: i am not running away in first few minutes if something wrong happen. if this would be the case i would go throug 150 cars by now :)
