180 for 50 ! That makes me feel so much better - thank you.

I'm not sublimating them but its nice to know the material will take that heat. The customer had the Vests - They aren't low quality ones I don't think - they are by 'Hi Light'.

I did a mates Hi Viz Bomber jacket at 185 with no problems Nik. That might be due to the layers it has in it plus the Teflon on top. I suppose its all down to testing.

Well we will soon see as I pick up the Metatex from my local supplier tomorrow - will let you know how I get on.

I have never done anything with this material before (100% Poly and Vinyl Lettering). It's just that the material seems to fragile !

I buy hi-vis poly fabric off the bolt, and press at 190c no problems, even the stuff with the waterproof backing doesn't melt, although I don't know if the waterproof is still as good lol

The material of the vest should be ok. The reflective strips will be best kept from under the press if you can

I made them all, no problems at all. I was worried about those reflective strips.. used my trusty Teflon sheet and all was well.

I was just a bit nervous as that Hi Viz material seems so fragile !
