Quality should be the same with a CIS......you just might get airlock/blocked head problems.....but you might not ;-)

Good choice of ink ... :-)
Are you using their dye or pigment based inks?
We use their PowerChrome pigment ink in our large formats for paper artwork printing, but also in our small A4 (PX720WD - 6 colour) for general office work along with any A4 artwork we need to print/proof!
You will need a custom ICC making if you're using them in a smaller printers, but it will definitely be worth it.

thanks for the helpful info.!!

i am glad i landed at a place where people are helpful to each other

may i know what you mean by "paper artwork printing"? i am not very familiar with printing terms

i will be using their dye based inks as i've researched on the difference between pigment and dye and i guess i will stick to dye

would you guide me through on choosing between pigment or dye? i honestly want this printer to print cheaply and to print QUALITY PRINTS!

i've read somewhere that i better use pigment ink for the blank cartridge and dye for c,m,y?... is that any good??

regarding the icc profile... is there a place on earth where i can get it for free :D??

thanks for the help though

We only use Epson printers, as it gives us more versatility in ink choices and types. By paper artwork printing, I mean printing art onto papers - reproductions of paintings etc.

Pigment ink prints should last longer than dye inks, although dye can give slightly better colours
