Hi Kaz, and welcome to the forum. When I started Infant school, my name conflicted with another Malcolm 
so I became M.Carl, using my middle name more. After Junior school I became Mally, but this conflicted with another Mally 
when I started work, and I became Mal. Nowadays I'd probably be more unique using my full name of Malcolm again.
