Website looks quite good in fairness, however......... I am taking bit of a guess here but I reckon most of the designs you are using are not your own artwork? You might get away with it direct to consumer but I would not consider offering the same stuff wholesale.

Hi s31teg. Nice looking site. Browsing is relatively quick although when I try the designer it slows right up. Im using Chrome. (Im also using a WiFi dongle while Im in hospital which could be a factor.) Also, some of the images might come under scrutiny unless you got licensing? The Apple logo for one and Monsters Inc. spring straight to mind. I could be wrong and dont want to tread on anyones toes by mentioning it.

Yeah the cache mod cant work on the designer as has to be excluded as it is always loading dynamic content, this is hard to reduce using html5 at the high dpi we are using on the canvas (why most people use flash). But its the first version and v2 is currently being worked on to improve the functionality along with speed and response.

In short S31teg I am pretty much convinced that you do not know all the designers/photographers/artists of the items you are selling because a quick image search brings up most of your designs across many other websites.

Now, personally I do not particularly care if you are in breach or not but it is not right to say that they have been submitted.

Sorry if this seems like a dig, its not. I honestly do not care about copyright infringement unless it is one of my clients.

Had a quick look, and saw the Monsters Inc/Mike Wazowski one (so will use as an example) ... you could probably get away with that one, if you didn't have the words Monsters, Inc, Mike, Wazowski in any combination or arrangement on the artwork, or in the advert description text. The artwork itself is similar but not the same as the original that it is inspired by, so on its own would likely be OK.

The green Monsters Inc image can be found all over the web exactly the same as the one on wehaveany.com

@S31teg, you have obviously spent a lot of time on your website and the layout and functionality looks good and works well. I like it. But what would you say if I took your website, copied it exactly and just change the name and reduce the amounts by say 10p each? If that were me I would be pretty peeved and deservedly so. Yet, for the most part that is what it looks like you have done.

And by the way, just to clarify...

I meant the photographer, not the designer of the London Bus (although I suspect he is dead also)


P.S. At least the Eifel Tower copyright has expired so you are good on that one

Hi I love the look, the only thing I found difficult was the text on the coloured 'bar' when I look at an item. The colours made it difficult for me to read. Was quite quick for me on ie.

Couple of points - need delivery information and terms and conditions also add in a physical contact address - these 3 things add confidence for purchases.

Went to upload an image in the designer and it showed a completely different image.

Wholesale section should be password protected so public can't see your wholesale pricing.

Also, it should say we can produce, rather than we can product.
