I am a huge, massive fan of CDraw...did I say I liked it? lol. I do use Adobe CS3 as well but do as much as poss. in CD

Start with Elements 11 and take it as far as you can go, then invest as the profits come in. Elements 11 (or even previous versions) is enough for what you want to do at this stage.

I tend to use CorelDraw for most of the work but also have Photoshop and Illustrator for specific jobs too.

Zipdorf is right. My elements was as old as v.6 and had it of ebay for peanuts. powerful software.

Adobe are (or were recently) giving away CS2 completely free so if anyone needs full blown photoshop, illustrator etc. then you can have an (old) version free and legal!

I use both programmes but adobe is far better than corel draw better quality and image clarity corel is easy to learn than adobe but when you learn adobe Cs 6 you getting a design package that will make outstanding logos and creative flair is all about learning the beater you learn the better the logos . If you want a package that's far easy to learn use corel draw good editing tools but adobe is far superior and is standard design tool for any serios designer my choice is adobe love it

I use Photoshop and illustrator, you've got the benefit of both programs having the same feel so there's not so much of a learning curve.. corel and illustrator are very similar in outcome so if you're used to corel you'll prefer that if you use illustrator you'll prefer that.. it's actually more important to know how to use your tools than which one you use.
