Another good reason why people should go to a recommended supplier to buy their setup and get advice, instead of just looking a the ceapest route on Ebay.

There are good dealers on Ebay too though remember - don't tar them all with the same brush!

I dont mean to sound harsh but did you do any reasearch at all before buying this set up?

I would reccommend getting in touch with your supplier and getting them to help you.

As said earlier, you need to research sublimation printing, colour profile (you need this to get the inks to print the right colour on your items), ect its all on here and you tube.

Its not quite as easy as click, print, press until you know what you are doing.

Viccar, yes I did spend months looking into this I wanted it for a sideline for my sewing, for cushions etc I only ran into problems when I decided to make a plaque as a gift for a friend and found it couldn't print onto painted wood :-(

Was the paint a polyester paint? Sublimation inks will only bond with polymers.

Classic! but i cant talk,
its all a learning curve shaz103, type in Sublimation on here, google etc have a good read, youve made a start by buying the equipment now take your time and throw your emulsion pain in the bin..

Lol! it was something I had lying round the house it wasn't something I had planned to do it was the creative side of me trying something new for a gift. off to google polyester paint
