People may prefer to have their websites hosted on a server that's not quite so populated, so it may be of interest to them if you can set up their sites on their own chosen web-hosting service.

Sure, people can arrange their own hosting or they can have a dedicated IP address for a extra 99p per month my servers run quick & the company i use have top service & support so your in safe hands

Chris set mine up, on my own server, (well I say own, it is one I rent space on) and not only that but spent some time on the telephone talking me through how to set up various options etc on the actual site!

Just throwing my two penneth in here. I have been running a successful website ([url="chorleygolfprints.com] chorleygolfprints.com[/url] ) selling prints for a friend for some time using actinic catalogue on bluehost servers but their latest security measures flagged up the scripts actinic runs as malware. They suspended my account and refused to reply to numerous requests for help. I changed web hosts and decided to use open cart, because actinic would not run on their server, which I found easy to do providing I did not stray far from the default template. Linked with mals eCommerce payment gateway, I now have a secure site which does what I want.
I would like to say that when you view the options available for customisation of open cart and the knowledge you require to adjust the templates and modules the service offered by chris_hosk is a real bargain. A custom template can vary from £35-£75, payment gateway implementation can be purchased for around £30 for things like PayPal. You then have to install and configure these and with the lack of a real manual for open cart this can be a very time consuming and frustrating experience. Just try to cutomise an opencart template, php pages and the css files, it's not like anything you know.
On top of this you need to pay for a web host with a static ip and secure ssl, relying on their sometimes limited customer support to guide you through the process of securing your website and installing certificates etc.
All things aside I would consider the work he does to be worth around £250 just to setup the website and another £1500 a year for monthly adjustments and online support. When you realise that many companies charge around £10,000 for a fully configured eCommerce site it's not to hard to see what a great deal this is.

this is a way for me to add to my hosting & help some people out if i was creating a bespoke site from scratch i would usually charge £600-1200

Hey chris it would be good to have a chat at some time that's convenient for us both, i need a web site doing that encapsulates everything i do from the sub printing to the mobile repair and sales to computer repair and i.t support. Also with social media links and a blog section if possible. I can message you my contact numbers and we can have a chat if thats ok. I am looking at hosts at the moment so i am open to suggestions and offers etc.
