@TWINS - used to be there but it got shutdown couple of yrs ago, and they spent millions on a new health center/hospital at the roundabout just before you go under the railway bridge into Girvan.

Hospital - thats another joke - only part time A&E - yep you heard me - part time . any major accident on the roads here, and they take them 22 miles up to AYR A&E, - you could be dead by time you get there :rolleyes:
oh and they cannot operate or do anything major in it either - cuts n bruises, cut out moles are about its top whack - ridicules

@PAUL - Jeez bud, sorry to hear that.
i did go to chemist today and got some ibuprofen tabs and a tin of that cold freeze spray stuff - had couple of tabs and sprayed my ass with the cold stuff - relief for about 4hrs....ahhhh. then its creeps back in - but not as bad as before.
just had another 2 tabs and just about to have another stand n spray before i go to bed .
Then morning time getting out of bed will tell if the tabs and spray are working :rolleyes:

just had more pain killers and some spray stuff - this is crap, i got work to do today:mad:

off to see nurse tomorow for more blood work and my test injection so i might just ask her to make an appointment for me. This cant go on for gods sake.

on A&E they gave me paracetamol. when i call ambulance they gave me morfine

there appoinment system here its (not using sweary words now) really stupid.
you CANNOT book an appointment weeks or months ahead - you have to phone at 8.30am to see if there are any available.
you phone at 8.32am - sorry all bookings are taken - OH COME ON HERE - what a joke this place is.
i have never heard of any practice running in this way - where i came from(20yr ago) outside of Glasgow, you could get to see doc the same day - anyday - i asked the doc the last time i was in about there stupid way of running ( docs are great and down to earth), but all i got was - it was there practice policy :rolleyes:

My mother has exactly the same stupid problem in Worcester. Has to ring at 8,30 and its full booked by 8,35. Shes 89, has to catch two buses and the shelter outside the clinic has no shelter from the rain. 20 years ago you just walked in and asked to see him. Crazy system. Thank god I live in Germany, straight in. no appointment and then an injection direct in the back. Instant pain releif. Only problem is getting there, the wife has to take me.

I used to play squash with a small group a couple of times a week. When we reach our 40´s we all started wearing rubber elbow protectors, then it was back protectors , then knee, ankle. All of us, not just one. Its fun getting old.....
