looked at the coloured mailing bags - are there not some kinda smell off of them things ? the ones i seen had a kinda burnt smell to them, which put me off using them.

Thats normaly grey ones, they stink, always go for the blue they dont smell

Are they as sturdy front and back as the one sided hard back envelopes?
Have been looking for something sturdy to send rhinestone transfers in.

The post offices 'size' them inside that stupid 'letterbox' measuring contraption, although I don't know anyone with a postbox that small...if they can't get it in without trying they 'up' the price!!! Also, Paypal don't give you any options for second class post etc which doesn't help!!

I often use jiffy bags, never have a problem as large letter, how thick are your jiffy bags?

just standard one bud - how thick is a standard one ?
cant get the mouse mat in unless i go another size up - into packet size !
@fairy - tell em about it - when i go into the local (only) PO down here, the woman see's me coming and is standing with that dam fake post box thing like the grim reaper. come to think of it - she even looks like the grim reaper - na, the grim reaper probably smiles more than her :rolleyes:

Take a look on the Priory site viccar....these are full board envelopes...as in made front and back from board.
