I don't think you've left anything else any purchaser could want although carriage fees that reflect the actual cost instead of a set minimum would be nice.

I also think that suppliers would like us to spend more time on the website to see if the answers are there. I'm not a supplier but that must frustrate them at times, maybe suppliers can add their comments on how they would like us to use their website properly. But I agree with gorgall2 the ones that win it for me regardless of how their website are laid out,the one that goes the extra mile and takes the time to explain to me prices and cost, and what ever else that I need to know and have not seen on their website. If you want free samples then pay the postage, how many of us give free sample and postage free, and do we give it to everybody that ask, how many wholesale lets you buy one or two, or lets you just buy to try. Some times we have to ask ourselves are we good buyers. I know I'm not, I dither and ask stupid question but I do spend a fair amount when they help me through the bits and bobs I want to know.

I agree with you on certain things Jennywren but if a supplier has to explain how to use their site then they need to redesign the site. I also think that if all the information was on there then it would reduce quite a few phone calls to the supplier asking them simple questions which really should be readily available on the site.

Another thing I would like to see clearly is if the price includes VAT or not. Ideally both prices next to each other would be perfect, but at the very least £9.99 + VAT or £11.99 INC VAT

I don't think there is no such thing as a bad buyer if the supplier is reputable. Like my customers, some are higher maintenance than others, but I still take their money  Thats part and parcel of business.

i am about bit different then prices and postage here...
I wish to see proper pictures of the products. as this is online shopping so we can not see them in real. not thumbnials that you can NOT enlarge. fine if we re order but for first time buyer love to see as much as he can. I know I do...! I love to see more then one picture of item. in lots cases 1 is enough but lot of them would do more then one or two. I also love to see proper dimensions of some blanks so i know what exactly i am buying.

Good website that provides all the information that I would obtain if I was holding the item in my hand.

Clear shipping costs - based on actual delivery postcode, including any surcharges. Should be able to obtain a shipping price and options within the shopping cart and not at the checkout stage.

Good customer service.

Has plentiful supply of products and if they run out, doesn't take weeks to get them back in stock.

Answers the telephone instead of always going to an answer phone (suggests not enough people in the company).

Tracking number for parcel along with confirmation of dispatch email.

I'm looking into adding a feedback/rating system for suppliers but need to do some more work first and discuss this with mods, expect to possibly see something early in the New Year ;-)

I would like to see real life, finished (printed) items big enough for me to look at before I buy to try.

I would like to see the suppliers not advertising there prices to to the general public. You would have to be a member and sign in to see the trade price. Some already do this but some don't.

oh yes thats always one for me as well, i can see it from the site owners side, they want to advertise their competitive prices to people, but its also nice to think that "trade means trade"
