Woohooo...first lot of vinyl arrived

Okay, here's my second first attempt at layering.....did very first one just before this but it was just plain yellow graphics on a white 't'....this is for my hubby's Secret Santa recipient in work....she's got her own horse and is VERY horsey and as he's new in work he didn't know what else to get her!! I'm really pleased with how it turned out and even hubby's got a list of ideas for new tshirts!!

Thanks Craig...I think I've watched every single video on You Tube!!!! I even phoned Xpress today...got a poor lad who knew just as much as I did about pressing vinyl...which wasn't a lot!!

That looks very good, especialy for first attempt, one tip with vinyl is after you have taken the backing off press the vinyl again for a few seconds to 'set it'

Thanks Viccar...this is the EasyFlex from Xpress which is a cold peel.....I did press it again but with a sheet of paper on top....can I press down WITHOUT anything between the tshirt and the hot plate?!!?

I think with your graphic and artistic skills you are onto a winner, the vinyl and sublimation is the easy bit, the hard bit is design, imagination and using blooming graphics software.

I would say flattery will get you everywhere..but don't want to appear like a loose woman in the first week!!! ;O) Don't worry.....I am now going to get really stuck into getting some graphics done and a website set up as any graphics I can sell on helps me get my printer to develop my own business!! Would designing vinyl graphics be a good idea too!?!?!?

Haha Its ok im female :wink: yes i press directly for a few seconds but i have teflon coated plate, dont press a inkjet transfer after youve taken the paper of though, it makes a big mess!
