When I was a screen printer many years ago trainees were sent to the ink store for 'tartan' ink 
Another time I worked in the publicity department at Asda & one day a new trainee from head office which was about a mile away turned up with a fire bucket full of sand. The poor lad was well knackered when he got to us & he wasn't too happy when we were all rolling about laughing. He then asked where the local chemist was as he had to pick up a bottle of maidens water on his way back. We told him where the chemist was. :biggrin:
