I have a epson sx130. It has done me ok for now, yes I have considered a Ricoh printer recently but after a few messages and pm I'm staying with the epson for now.
right you say your only doing phone covers, I'm a newbie and have found these to cause me more problems than any item I have sublimated. But trust me as soon as you do your first phone case you will be looking at the suppliers web sites and ordering 1 or 2 of each of every blank sub they do. It's so bloody addictive they are like Pringles onece you pop you can't stop.

haha I can imagine!! Do you find the phone covers problems in a sense they are tough to get right? Or do you mean because you get addicted to making them ha

They've been hit and miss with me. I've had some good results but have wasted a few where I've got the times/temp wrong .

would you not use the same time and temp with each phone cover? Or was it just human error/learning that you got them wrong?

Go with the Ricoh Printer as they don't clog up as easily as the Epson,

Defiantly recommend a Ricoh although Dave hasnt had problems as yet most folk that buy the Epson's grow tired of the clogging and issues with bulk ink systems and buy a Ricoh anyway and its even more frustrating if your just starting out. without quality prints you wont get quality product.

Thanks for the further replies lads and ladies.
can I ask one other question, I'm not 100% sure on one thing...ICC, do you have to do this regardless of printer choice or if I pick a Ricoh from BSM am I saved from having to do the ICC process? I'm just getting confused because I have seen sites talking about printer choice but they only mention the Epson when they discuss the ICC process so I'm curious do you not have to do it with a Ricoh?
thanks
