CD's are supplied these days. There is everything to download from Sawgrass.

I don't know where this printer has come from but here is a link for PowerDriver and all the support docs you need:

Well, as I recently bought a secondhand GX7000 printer and had not set it up, I thought I would run through the installation procedure after reading this thread. I am very PC savvy and the guides on the sawgrass site are easy to understand HOWEVER I did find that once you have installed the Powerdriver then certain things may require you to uninstall it before you can do them. As I bought this printer secondhand, it was still using old firmware version 1.15 whereas the latest is 1.21. I could not install the new firmware however once I had installed the Powerdriver software so had to uninstall it then reinstall the ricoh driver, flash the new firmware and then reinstall the Powerdriver. THIS IS however not likely to be a normal issue for a new printer installation BUT did think it might apply to some in the future. I then followed the instructions to setup Powerdriver for Coreldraw, this is hopefully a one off setup as if not it is going to be a pain lol.

Before I tried my first sublimation print I ran a nozzle check and everything came out perfect - but my first print job came out I suspect without the right amount of cyan as what should have been blue/purple on my image was not, I tried another print and it came out the same so I did a full head clean and then I finally got the blues. Pretty strange as to why the nozzle check came out fine but the subsequent prints did not.

Well we are all aware that printers can be the bane of many a sublimaters life and these things are sent to try us all.

Hi again, Just to update this post - it was the power driver that was the problem. My prints look great now thank god. Although I had sucessfully registered with Sawgrass I had not installed the power driver correctly. I reregistered it with them and got a new password/code thingy and all is working well. I'm loving the sublimation process. Thanks for your help above.
Kind regards
