Grafitype vinyl is from Siser films which are really good films for textiles. Had a women from Metamark come and see me, when I told her that I use Graftype films for textiles she didn't even bother pulling out her range of vinyls but instead said "if you are using Grafitype/Siser films I will not be able to sell you anything better!" As she was so honest with me I ended spending £500.00 on material that I didn't need LOL!!!!
Was that out of pity or was it her good sales pater???

I would like to say it was a good sales person.
However long blonde hair and blue eyes may have had something to do with it

Would these guys be recommended to use instead of mdp (mdp flex/hotflex) materials?

All depends on what you are comfortable with.
I switched to Magic Touch because I went through a period where nothing was going right with Siser films. I am sure it was probably just me, but I did not have enough time to figure out what or where I was going wrong. If MDP is working for you then I would say stick with it, if there is some other issue (cost or customer service for example), then try one of the others, Magic Touch, Graftype, Target etc etc.
One of them will supply you a vinyl that you will be happy with from a company that you like to deal with.

A few years ago when I had a plotter/cutter I tried a sample of the Siser PS gold from Grafityp and cut my business name and applied it to the corner of a burgundy polyester napkin which was washed and tumble dried over 50 times and it was still 100% intact.
