yeah well that price is through 123 reg as the site you gave above did come in $ and aso they only do 4 years for $28 which makes it £17 for 4 years so 123 reg is cheaper and i am sure someone on here reccomended it in another thread as thats how i found it :)

123-reg is a good company and the prices don't change depending in how popular you domain is, so it will be the same cost for any .co.uk domain in the future.

thaanks Charlie and Martin. is there any other domain name sites peope reccomend or does it not really matter which ones you use as i just found another site and it is cheaper still and not really knowing alot about this stuff im not sure

I have used 123reg, godaddy, namecheap and a few others but always come back to 3i but then thats me but there are a lot of sharks in ther domain name industry....

I have domains hosted with 1&1 and Fasthosts. Been with 1&1 for many years and never had any problems whatseover...that said their customer support is lousy so it's a good job! lol.

I have found on the couple of odd times ive needed customer services at 3i they have the problem sorted in a very quick time, even the tickets goes through very fast.

I just redirect so luckily any tech support is through my hosting company or I'd switch them.

I have used 123 over the years to purchase more than 20 domain names and never had any problems with them. I have my hosting elsewhere, but can't fault 23 for their service
