+1 on Justin's comment and more importantly for you as a newbie to dye sub, they take some beating on after sales service.
For your info, I have a RICOH 3300 here that is my back up machine in the unlikely event that the 7000 should fail. I hadn't used it for about 6 months and recently turned it on to use as I needed 200 sheets of A4 printed as quick as possible. I turned it on, loaded with paper and started to print. Each one was spot on.

Thanks guys i appreciate the after sales service is good and i am looking at that company i was just trying to keep the costs down a little to start with as im new to this i didnt really want to end up spending loads on equipment to start but at the same time i want to try and buy some good equipment which will allow me to learn that is why i was looking at the second hand ones.
A quick question about the second hand machines even tho with some comments etc im leaning towards new for peace of mind etc i have been offered a ricoh 3300 with no ink year and half old i dont suppose it would be worth it as i can have it at £75 but taking in ink costs it wont be worth but hey illl still ask my questions just out of curiosity.
Is there a way to tell if a ricoh has only been used for sublimation printing rather than just taking someones word for it.
Thanks again for taking time to read and reply

Hi Craig
I have just posted about your heat press question and understand you want to keep costs down (don't we all!!!!) but I can not stress enough that in the long run, you would be far better off purchasing decent kit. If it costs a little more then put your prices up. People will pay the price if your designs are good enough
As a word of advice, I consider myself to be an expert in dye sublimation mugs and have printed hundreds of thousands of them. I use five in one presses supplied by heatpressUK. They are a lot of money for what they are but have always been up to the job. I then noticed that Sunfly (quite a reputable Chinese company) had a five in one press that with import duty was going to cost £300.00. Cheap as chips in my opinion so placed an order and got one sent over. After wasting about 5 boxes of mugs I decided that enough was enough, loaded the press into the back of the van and took it straight down the rubbish dump.
by purchasing kit you (or anyone else) know nothing about you could end up burning rubber to the rubbish dump instead of the bank to count the millions your new business is going to earn

Social thanks the advice i am receieving is very good and the reason i joined to be honest.
If im honest i dont want to buy chinese rubbish i would rather buy bits that people who have been around in the game and used and recommend and yeah i guess everyone wants to keep prices down i do not mind buying decent equipment as being a qualified mechanic i appreciate the ned for good quality tools i was just thinking about what i would do if it dont work out as i dont want to be in a position of paying out hundreds and hundreds and then find it is something that im no good and cant make work then being a little stuck.
I may bite the bullet and buy new bits and see how i go.
I am leaning towards the ricoh 3300 unless someone tells me different but im not sure on others bit and still looking around.
Can anyone suggest any companys to maybe look at i have got BMS bookmarked just wondered if there any others that you guys and gals on here use that would be usefull to look at for equipment.
Thanks for your time

You'll find a list of current suppliers in out General Section, it isn't a complete list but gives you a few to look at and price match etc.

Seems to be the only real difference apart from aesthetic. I wonder if print speed etc. is the same.
