with sky LLU @ a constant 16.5m down & 1m upload......waiting for BT to get there finger out so i can get skys new fibre B/B:tongue:
Had it now for about 2yrs, previously on skys up to 8meg connection then our exchange got upgraded.

lucky i got in BEFORE sky changed there T&C's for there B/B...So i still have my BT landline with BT, and my B/B with sky. - which makes leaving sky a hell of a lot easier than it would if i had the full works with sky....if i left sky i would have to pay BT £130 to "reconnect" my line back to BT from sky(with the sky landline)

All new sign ups to sky B/B demand you take there landline to get there B/B...which isnt bad in its self...i just like ME to have the choice - not someone else

have heard some horror storys tho if you live in the sticks....but to be fair, that the same with 90% of ANY isp if you live far from the exchange...speeds will suffer

but i recommend sky for there B/B for sure..and at £12.50 (would be £7.50) per month, cause i aint got there landline installed...still a bargain me thinks....oh yeh, and thats TRUE UNLIMIMITED downloading...no caps at all...sweet

Best speed I can get is 8 meg download (that is it!), have had offers of more, then when I say "put it in writing", I either receive nothing, or the letter says "subject to availablity".

AOL delivers about 7 meg so as quick as anybody here.

Well lucky enough here to have a nice consistant (when it doesn't blip) 50 meg download (soon to be 100 meg) so quite happy for my business and gaming needs. In theory if you are getting your internet service via adsl or adsl2 then you should get similar maximum speeds on your particular line from all suppliers (unless capped).
