Trailer Kitted for Events
Re: Trailer Kitted for Events
That's what I mean - if you haven't passed the UK driving test before 1997 you may have to take an additional driving test to drive a mobile home, tow a trailer or caravan.
Re: Trailer Kitted for Events

That's a cracking motorhome - love the trailer too but don't have the cash at the moment.

Paul check your licence. If it has C1 on it then you're OK. If not it's a bit difficult/expensive because you need to go to a 'truck/lorry' driving school and take what was the HGV test...not sure what it is called now. Basically for those who passed their test before 1997 there's 'grandfathers rights' with the C1 class which means anything up to 7.5 tonne. However after '97 the entitlement was removed hence those passing their driving test will need to take another test to enable them to drive above 3.5 tonne

This should explain it Paul......basically it's 750kg trailers are OK and over that it goes on to say about what is required regarding the weight of vehicle and trailer combination

I've had no time to put it on eBay yet! I'll be using a higher price on eBay.

Like all things - something you want turns up when you cant have it. Missed a gorgeous set up a couple of years back and the day it sold (On ebay) I got a cheque that would have covered it. When my school contracts pay up I may have the cash. If its gone its gone.Stitch Up;42472 wrote:I've had no time to put it on eBay yet! I'll be using a higher price on eBay.
