Maybe they are trying to keep below the vat level lol
Makes no difference - if they are vat registered, which they are, they have to charge vat. So the price you see advertised on ebay includes vat, in this instance.

That rubber cheque will be fine Ian, i'll put it with the other one's and file it my dart board

Just seen that they 'were' doing them for £1.99 as well!

Also doing iphone4 cases for £3.99 and free postage!

Don't know why I bother - everyone wants a bargain and although I would 'definatley' do a better job for a few quid more 99% would go to them as they'd felt like they have a bargain!

Now here is something i thought may make one or two laugh.
After reading the thread done a bit of research through freeindex and came up with this about the person listing the mugs etc
[LEFT]With an office in Shireoaks (Worksop), Creswell Technical Ltd is the home of Express Autopoint who provides a unique new regular basic vehicle maintenance service on a membership basis to clients throughout Worksop, Chesterfield, Derby, Sheffield, Nottingham, and surrounding areas. The business was set up by ex "Dragons den" entrepreneur "Peter Ensinger" to fill a gap in the market place.

This might amuse you even further: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6913848.stm, re:
No more work

Of course, some deals fall by the wayside.

All five Dragons pledged investment in the Standby Saver, a seemingly unique plug-like device for cutting the power wasted by appliances when left in standby mode.

But the original deal was based upon a patent that the inventors Peter Ensinger and David Baker needed to protect their product.

In the end the situation could not be resolved and their deal fell through.

But that is not the end of the story.

Peter and David subsequently found another investor to buy into the product, and while Peter will not reveal exactly how much he made from the deal he does tell us he never needs to work again, which sounds like a pretty satisfying outcome - from his perspective at least.
Never needs to work again, yet selling printed mugs like he's desperate for pennies? Methinks I smell something haddock-flavoured.

Well Mrs M it was the ex dragon den bit that got me cos if he was a real [LEFT]entrepreneur then his price structure would be better but can see why non of the Dragons would sign up with him if his figures were like his pricing for mugs.
Also looked at company search for him and results all showed books balance £0 turnover £0 but company been registered for over 12 months.
There was me thinking I was the only one rushing to get the tax in last minute, had no martial discussions but pulled hair out of my wig (pulled hair out of head last year) but never mind the snow and summer on its way LOL

JSR very interesting, and yep obviously did such a great deal - mind you "never has to work again" could mean he has just joined some of the "can work but dont work" brigade and he is living off a fortnightly payment. - oh Daily Mail where are you , when you need a story investigating lol.

how very odd letsgo, companies house has a wealth of information, made me feel slightly less like murder thismorning :)

If he is the same chap that tried to get investment to start a membership vehicle breakdown advice service, the dragons told him that it was a rubbish idea and that it would not run at a profit because of the need to pay mechanics wages to answer the phone, and he would be up to his eyes in law suits when the wrong advice was given as you can't diagnose a car over the phone.
Maybe he should take his sublimation business in front of the dragons and let them explain running cost and profit margins.

Jack

I thought this was a dye sublimation forum, not one for character assassinations. He could be a nice bloke
