The one thing you will get on here is honest opinions warts and all. If you want inspiration check out the suppliers on ebay that sell you the full start up package. It will make you a fortune overnight ( at least it does for them ) :wink:

i echo what people have said about the bookwork side of things, get that right from the start and you will not have a headache later, and whatever you do - charge for your work, your time, your creativity, if someone asks you to price a job for 100 peices but then only wants to order 10 - charge them the 10 rate, not the 100 rate, i have recently had this with some shirts, originally wanted 30 racing style shirts, now the order is for 3 he was amazed when i gave him the price for 3, but as i said to him, when you order and pay for the remaining 27 - i will credit the difference

if someone asks you to price a job for 100 peices but then only wants to order 10 - charge them the 10 rate, not the 100 rate
I get that one all the time - quotes for many thousand and then the order ends up to be for 50 off.

Or the old chestnut "if this one takes off i'll be coming back for thousands more - OK, i'll give you a big discount when the order comes in for a thousands :wink:
