its not cling as such they want, they want full colour stickers but that stick on the inside of the car window

Cor, what machine do you have that does that please john?

I have done window stickers in the past using clear laser printable vinyl, it is probably not the cheapest but it does the job if needs be.
I just have one question that may seem daft but if the text if to be black on a clear background will this not be very difficult to read on a window or windscreen
