I bought a 3300 a couple of months ago from BMS and I am well pleased with it quality is excellent, price per print is not to bad when you consider how much ink is wasted on cleaning epson heads and finally the print speed is amazing.
There is however one drawback and that is it is not able to do edge to edge printing, as a result I have still got an epson as a stand by that I use for edge to edge.
That said I did see a write up on here of how to set the ricoh to do edge to edge, but I have not tried it as it may cause problems with over spray of ink.

In my opinion if you want a trouble free system its got to be Ricoh and I can recommend BMS as when I did have a small glitch they were very helpful as were a lot of members of this forum.

I think someone on the forum suggested a work around, but not sure whether the tray in a 3300 is adjustable.
If it is, then print to American "legal size" - buy A3 paper and cut down to legal size, then you can print edge to edge A4

I've just recently bought a Ricoh printer from BMS, why did'nt I get a set of ordinary carts with it (moan moan moan) but I would always favour the Ricoh over any Epson

Martin takes the standard carts out as people have been putting them in the printer before reading the instructions - once there in, you cannot use it for sublimation.

I am well aware thay can't be used for sublimation but I've seen the printers without carts going quite cheap so I was thinking of it as an oridinary printer

Just confirming what John G says - the Ricoh genuine carts are of no use whatsoever to the end user as you have to put in the SubliJet-R cartridges from first install. If you put the wrong ones in then you'll spend more than the cost of the printer flushing put the old inks with SubliJet-R inks. Despite large A4 flyers in the box advising customers not to put in the genuine cartridges we had calls of "of yes I saw that flyer but decided it wasn't important, so what do I do now to get the sublimation ink in", to which our reply was, how about buying another printer as that will be cheaper than flushing sublimation ink through the printer! Seriously though, if ever you want a set of genuine cartridges just ask and we'll include them with any order - we have a large box overflowing with these and they have no value to us.

Absolutely. To repeat a post on here, we were offering a Ricoh GXe3300 with at least 10 sets of genuine cartridges for the price of the printer just to get rid of the cartridges. Cheap printing!

I am going to buy one of these from you right now as I need a printer for normal office use and day to day printing needs so these extra cartridges will be a massive bonus for me. When you say 10 sets do you mean 1 Black, 1 Cyan, 1 Magenta, 1 Yellow = 1 set ?

Yes 1 set is a set of 4 so you'll get 40 cartridges extra.
