No point gaining customers if you are not making any money out of them and once you have given them a low price it is very hard to put up your price and retain their custom.
Good luck with getting things back on track.

We are making money, but most of it seems to be going back into buying equipment etc. Did have a really quiet spell as well which didnt help!

gstk is in lincolnshire as well, perhaps this side of xmas he and other members nearby might be able to price and produce items for you ?? you never know until you ask. That way you can use some of your xmas income towards product that will serve you well over the next few years

ps:
my husband says i must stop buying back up equipment now, i have 3 big cutters (never installed the newest one, still use the old one) about 5 heat presses - hang on, chinese big, chinese small, geo knight (my lovely everyday one, had a new heat platen fitted this year) other day to day press, and a cap press that does not work properly as the thermostat does not click in when its up to temp, do it gets hotter and hotter and a multi press that i cant find the cap attachment for lol - i know we are a stereotype - but i dont have that many pairs of shoes -honest

I know the feeling. I'm swamped in printers here. Don't have much in the way of backup heat presses but, each time I look to invest in a backup, some new supplier pops up with presses for 1/4 of the price I paid for mine. Kind of puts you off buying backups in the short term because they'll be about half the price by the time you need one. Surrounded by printers, though. Keep thinking of putting some of them on ebay, but I don't have the original boxes.
