That's unfortunate but at least we know it's not a software issue.

Hi Pressprintnow... I have received another copy of my icc profile which qimage is accepting. My wife has bought herself a new copy of elements, so I am having the old licence to try a few prints with that instead of gimp. Also on my last batch of mugs, which were primarily a black on white logo, the black was definately coming out brown - so think i need to do some more experimenting with the timings/heat etc. my decision now is temp or time....up or down....such fun ;-)

Also what times and printer?

If its a Ricoh, and you have brown blacks - your over cooking. Anywhere inbetween 160 - 180 degress and 160 to 180 seconds works for me on a ricoh 5050n and budget mug press.
If its an Epson, and you profile is correct - I would think your under cooking the mugs!

Hi all, Just a quick note to say thanks for all your help regarding this issue. I have now disabled the epson print driver correcting colors, use qimage with the latest icc profile from coralgraph (thanks henry) and changed my settings to 160 for 250 secs. Blacks are much blacker (well black actually), blue cast has gone and am now officially a happy chappy!
