I PM'd Scott this morning when I saw the post and asked if he could jump on and advise - I'm sure when he gets two minutes he'll pop in for a chat :-)

Thanks for the replies.

I did not contact BMS and I guess I should have,
The thing is I only really use this forum for advice and this was as usual my first port of call.
I also beleive that by asking on here it highlighted a problem and now others who may be considering the towels will have the information I lacked.

I note Adam has pm someone at BMS so I will just wait now.

Thanks again

Tony

I'll have a look at these when I'm back in the office in case Scott doesn't get the opportunity to post back here, but that won't be until next week as I'm overseas at present.

Printable area polyester content would differ dependent on side of towel as this is a very close top weave into the cotton towel. If the towel was of a high polyester content it would be pretty useless as a useable towel, but great for printing. The polyester is woven into the towel and is dominant on the top surface on the non label side, the label side therefore would have more cotton surface exposed hence the poor print quality, but this should largely wash out as it will not have sublimated into the cotton fibre.
The 6% polyester content would refer to the whole product and not the material, as will be high in print area and zero in remainder of towel. Just as with most sublimation products only part will accept the image, mugs, mouse mats, coasters, jigsaws etc. all only print on one side or restricted areas.
You should safely be able to assume to print on the non label side as, If the towel has the label attached on the printing side it would be a second as the label should be sewn into the hem seam. Therefore you would have cause to get a replacement as faulty item if misprinted as a result.
