I use side way position in my press and I love it. bigest benefit of horizontal press I think is when you want to press longer stuff like travel mugs or beer stains. also you can slide it from side to side if you want print let say on top only but mug/cup/stain etc is to long ;)

Never underestimate the value of support either. If the press goes wrong or you can't get it working properly, how quickly will the company respond? What is the warranty? Can they supply replacement heat blankets quickly at a fair price? jnmannn has given the best bit of advice here it may cost more but the help and advice is worth many times the price of a hear press. i have brought from a good company and it deloped a fault and with two mintues of being on a phone the problem was done and dusted, even though it took 10 days for the spare part to get here I was a happy chappie becuse I could have ended up with nothing.

I got a df1 from BMS side mounted. i gotta say for the money its a cracker does a full wrap no problem. Build quality reflects the price i was suprised to see the mug blanket isnt fixed but i can live with that, and the timers a bit fiddly but no stupid bloody tune when its done a mug. What sick individual thought we wish you a merry xmas was a good idea for an end of cycle notifier
