Well he'll be busy in courts with half the world. The chap got I love london got the other half. Glad he's got the time I personally don't think he'll get far myself.

TBH if the crown in the image is crown copyright then with him selling the complete piece with someone elses copyright he doesn't really have a leg to stand on. I am half tempted to make some "Keep calm & carry on" vinyl wall art now lol

Well now the story has broken (was on BBC news 22nd sep). Several companies are now working with some IP lawyers to try and get this overturned. As some of these companies were effectively trading before this Mark Koop it sounds like they have a strong case. It also appears he has been quite sneaky in obtaining his trademark by basically bypassing the UK process and going through the EU process which basically also covers the UK. He also has a US trademark pending currently.

From what I can gather there are atleast 3 large IP lawyer firms working on the case and they are expecting to see results within the next 4-6 months.
