Re: I bid a Farewell to this forum but thanks for the ride.

Forgot to cancel the email notifications but perhaps I should clarify what I mean. I have found some good things out on this forum and I applaud the formation and running of it. I do various web sites for some charities and there are forums on those which I manage. I know the thankless task it is. I have even pulled one forum on the grounds that it just ended up a place for peopel to take a pop at each other.
This forum as I understand it is to help have a common place for people with a printing/dyesub interest. The idea is great and in a lot of cases a lot of people get a lot out of it. The bit I cant stand is when someone asks a perfectly sensible question and it is met with a fair bit of hostility. Copyright images and ebay is often met with such derision. Now if you are a chancer (we've prob all done it) and are doing it on purpose you get everything you get. If you are new and seen these items on ebay and fancy having a go at it you probably havent even considered copyright. A gentle explanation is all that is required, perhaps a FAQ of printing might be a good idea.
The post about the goings on about Subli woteva. Now, I had no dealings with it or what went on but if someone is struggling to survive or cant juggle family and work then they have the right to do what they want. Are they supposed to post a that "We're nearly skint, we cant borrow anymore and therefore we are going to throw everything we have worked for so far down the drain" No, you restructure and pick what you think you do best. If they managed to get a few bob for the other business then good on them, if they gave it away well then that was their decision.
BMS restructured their delivery - to 5 days from 2-3 and got attacked. So what - if BMS want to do that and make it easier for themselves then they can do that. They clearly want to clarify between urgent and whenever delivery. If I need it in a rush then I pay extra if I dont then I have the option. Not a crime and the difference was about a £1.
In my opinion, which I have a right to have, and I may be wrong too many times peoples first posts are met with sarcasm and hostility. If you dont know something you dont know it.
I am not pointing at anyone in particular I just find the vibe not the sort I enjoy in a forum. As said before I wish you all well but its not for me.
