You never know they might be legite as if I am right they deal in official autographs etc. Looking further into it the one I found has less than 6000 feedback so might not tbe the same as Ian........ still has loads of "questionable" designs and "same" mug description. Hmmmm?
I have to admit I do question the use of the model kits artwork on the mugs as the company who make the model kits have started to produce coasters using the said artwork themselves. I know the original artworks do come up for sale now & again & can cost anything from one to several thousands of pounds to buy. However buying the original still does not allow the buyer to use it to make reproductions unless they have the permission of the copyright holder.

A few years ago I wanted to produce some limited edition prints of a painting of a very famous rally car which Dunlop had commisioned. Dunlop said yes to me & I then got in touch with the artist who did the painting & he said he wanted a percentage of each print & also wanted to see the prints first to make sure the colours were accurate. I assumed Dunlop had full rights to that painting but, found out the artist was right as he was in effect still the holder of the copyright of his work.

I think he should get away with it, he obviously does anyway :)

Compare his ad to those we see on TV most evening e.g. Mr Muscle, just spray it on the most dificult burn't on oven meat dishes, grill pans etc etc and just wipe away with a cloth. According to the ads I've seen, there's no effort required and it's brilliantly clean with just one wipe.

Thing is they WILL almost certainly be able to prove those claims are reasonable. Before transmission ads like that go though a legal audit. and, if the ASA deem them misleading they can take action... As, actually, they possibly could against this guy.

Good luck to him I say - I bet there's a few on here who'd love to be selling the quantities he is.

Reasonable, hmmmm. I have never, not once, in my whole, whole life sprayed an oven baking tray caked with burn't bits and wiped it off to reveal a gleaming, like new surface in one single swipe! So much so, I don't even try anymore, I leave it to Angie :)
