I don't have any express tees. I did cut up an old SubliSoft one that seems to have worked well, but it's an expensive way of doing it. I did put the flag material over white paper but the result wasn't good.
I examined the profile made on the flag material and it's no wonder the results were hideous. The colours were just well... you'd have to see it to understand it.

it is expensive way of doing it but I got some reject ones that i misprinted. and use back side for printing charts

I've been using this software:
http://www.gamutvision.com/ to examine the profiles. It's very interesting to see what's happening to the colours when you optimise the profile, or just for comparing profiles. It also helps give you an idea if you're going to have trouble printing your image because you can see at a glance what colours can be produced.
Trouble is the free trial only lasts for 20 goes, and I'm not able to buy it yet.
