Importing PDF into Coreldraw

Gives yellow warning triangle...."The chosen colour mode is different from the colour space defined by the start-up profile......"

I would choose CMYK as this is for print, you may have to play with colour profiles to get sublimation settings correct..

I've got everything else setup ok, it was just this one warning that I wasn't sure about....maybe it only affects onscreen anyway i guess as it's the initial screen setup.

RGB is on screen - cmyk is when its printed - i'd go for CMYK as you want to see as close as poss what your producing. Just my opinion and I could be wrong though!

that is correct matey..
if you're more comfortable with corel draw, convert everything to outlines and save your Illustrator document as .ai and then load up corel draw and open(not import) the .ai file. You can amend the design as you want. Depending on your version of Corel Draw you want to save the Illustrator file in a legacy format (9,10, CS) for it to be opened in Corel.
