I know this was discussed but I haven't introduced any policy to delete a listing without a price. I may introduce a rule in the future but at this stage it's more polite just to mention it as I have in another thread.

I also agree.... its not very often things are sold... mabye when your ready Justin make a sticky on "Rules for selling" etc...

That's not what I'm saying, I'm just saying I won't delete a post merely because the member hasn't put a price on, a gentle nudge is usually enough, if the problem persists then a rule may be required. We're nice people here and I try to avoid over using rules

No disresepct, but I think that rule needs implementing now, you and I had this conversation a few months back, and still posts come on without any incline of price.

I, like others on the forum aren't mind readers, and as others said on the thread last week, they haven't enquired about an item as it didn't have a price.

Advertising it on here isn't any different to ebay, you need to have a price in mind, so it should be there from the start, and less of this cloak and dagger stuff that's been going on.

And, if people don't want us to know how much they want for it, there's always ebay

Totally agree there is nothing more offputting than an item for sale with no price

I think this conversation is had really got out of hand i think. I changed the listing very early on and put a price on the items. I dont need a lecture i just need to sell the items i have put on here as dont use them anymore. Sorry to cause such a stir on a issue.

Sorry Louise, it's not aimed at you, it's just at folks in general that put an item on without a price, it's been going on for months, and posteres have been losing out by not putting a price on.

All comments have been noted and as I've said, I will be looking at rules in the near future. This isn't the place to discuss it though.
