i do have PS CS4 though :)
I bought version 9 a few years ago for less tha £30 IIRC, does all I want except for linking with robo cutter software, but I think V10 would do that. Worth looking around the net for an old version. Can't remeber where I got mine but it was a 'cheap software' company. All genuine and above board.

Found this site doing older versions of Corel

http://www.bmsoftware.co.uk/coreldraw9.htm

V9 £69 or you could buy V10 at £119.

All looks like a legit company with contact number etc so worth a punt I'd say.

Don't suppose it would run on a mac though.

My cutter lets me specify which colour to cut when doing a multi coloured/layered image :-D

I've got Coreldraw on my mac, though not sure which version it is, I do know it's newer than version 10

That would be a handy addition, sounds like upgrade time to a newer version :)

Sorry, it's my cutting software that lets me specify which colour to cut, not corel

Having said that, corel might allow it, not really sure as I don't really know what I'm doing with it, lol

i gather you're not using a robo then Kaz
cos if you are i'd love to find out the settings for this

i know the robo you can select what you want it to cut and ignore after you trace the image

maybe i'll have a go doing it that way and see

No, not a robo, I've got a huge chinese import and use signcut pro as my cutting software, and it's in there I can specify to cut one colour at a time :-)

you could in corel always pull the image into its colours and save each one sized correctly in corel, then import them directly into your cutter and do it that way, as Kaz says with signblazer/signcut and other cutting software it allows you to choose what colour to cut at the cutter, rather than the drawing programme
