you could pretty much do this effect with any background though. Of course the colour has to be a spot colour e.g. white, green etc. but when the image is thrown into photoshop you can then select that colour and remove it. Its then just a case of fine tuning the selection to remove unwanted background colour.

He's always busy when I'm there stitch up, but I'm usually there in the evening at the cinema/bowling having a meal etc.
He has a prime location in there, slap bang at the bottom of the escalators, outside the bowling, so everyone that comes in just about, has to pass him

Well, here's an update & thanks to all who replied.
I researched all of the software available including plugins. I decided plugins for Photoshop were out, as it just takes to long and the process is a bit fussy so, I purchased PhotoKey 4 Pro, a green backdrop & a backdrop support system. Yesterday I decided to have a quick look at it all, set the backdrop up in the garden and took 5 pictures of Angie (under great duress and protest of course)! Packed everything back up and then loaded the pics on the computer. Started PhotoKey 4 Pro, loaded one of the pics and without any user intervention the green background was removed. I was amazed at the quality of the image I was left with, wisps of Angie;s hair were well defined.
I then spent a little time loading in various backgrounds and generally having a bit of fun.
Obviously I haven't done any in-depth use of the software but, it answers all the questions for me. Now I need to create templates for the size of print I need for mugs etc (anyone know the printable area of the standard mugs)? Stacks of video support on Youtube if anyone's interested.

I'll have to create some more, if I posted the pictures I took of Angie yesterday - she'd just got in from work, hair a mess, still in work clothes, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, she'd never speak to me again.
Hang on ............

That not a bad idea there stitch.... you could corner the "sham marriage" market.... offering pics abroad to offer as evidence... sound a bit like coronation street
