If it's all done in the open I don't see any issues. The number being drawn from the lottery is a great idea, saves any arguments there. Maybe I should have a list of numbers here and when each 'ticket; is sold the name is put alongside. Can't see any legal implications....I'll take a chance on that for charity! lol.

It would be a shame if we only sold a handful of tickets. We have enough regular member traffic coming through in theory but it'd just be up to you guys to buy them!

Does anyone know if PayPal payments can be taken for charity without fees? Seems a shame that they take a slice.

if you are sent paypal as a "personal payment" they wont take a % otherwise people would have to donate it to comic relief themselves, and perhaps give you a receipt number or something, its the same with the just giving sites - they take a % as well

if you send it as a personal "gift" there are no fee's to pay
and i'll have 1
ps the gift thing works for most payments sent as long as it's not ebay lol
so if anyone donates here tell them to make it as a gift and it won't cost either of you any money

that what we do on my forum when ppl donate

The only problem that would arise from paypal is if anyone mentioned "raffle" at all. I speak from experience and a limited account for doing this in another group as paypal don't condone gambling
Oh, and I'll have a ticket aswell, and might be easier to have it as the bonus ball, not everyone will be watching to see what number comes out first.

The bonus ball can be any of the numbers from 1-49, which is the same balls from the main draw, not sure where you got 39 from Laura, lol
