Done hoodies in the past using flock and robo then simply use heat press to apply.

the best option is to screenprint these, these can be a real pain to set up design wise tho.. using a san serif font will help when printing and nothing too bold or too thin..lol.. using Illustrator will give you the best options when designing the logo.. also if you can get them to print on light coloured hoodies this is going to help you more than anything as there is only one print and no flash cure eliminating any 'double/ghosting' print that could occur, especially with small names!..

That's another reason why I tend to stay away from dark garments - its easier on t'shirts but hoodies/sweatshirts etc do move a little on the platen and a few double images and there goes the profit.
That reminds me, forgot to order some t-fix / spray mount today - bu66er!
