I did the same thing with eBay. The increase is whatever your market can take. If those who bought from you because your design was unique then no impact, they will still buy. If they bought from you because you were cheap, then they aren't coming back.

Simple example. If you have unique designs that are special to those who knit, knitters will buy. There aren't many people who cater to the "niche". You are not against 1000's of other people selling "It took me 50 years to look this good" etc.

This is all very interesting as we did the same on Amazon with similar results except we still get the 'I've been waiting more than 4 hours now, I want my money back' brigade. I just wished I could find a quick way of putting prices up on Amazon, the way we do it is one by one and it's tedious.

Have you tried inventory reports in excel on Amazon to change listings in bulk? Also would be interested to hear if people have different prices on different platforms or the same across the board?

Personally I hate eBay.
Its full of chancers that claim I haven’t had my order.
I got fed up with people saying they hadn’t received the order, then when faced with a tracking number and proof of delivery with gps location etc, they decide oh my daughter must have it then or I’ll check with a neighbour.
not to mention quick to leave neg feedback when it’s damaged in transit etc.

Etsy has none of that.
I find U.K. Etsy buyers are more honest and grateful.
Any damages in transit are always started with I know it’s not your fault but this has arrived broken.

Etsy USA on the other hand.
5/10 times I get Where’s my order! it’s been 10 days I want a refund.
where’s the tracking info blah blah blah.

I always explain postage delays are inevitable on overseas with customs etc but have to refund In fear of negative reviews.
