Or you could go nuts, spend a fortune as I did and print direct to garment - ONLY COTTON (Poly if you use diferent inks)

that wow stuff works out even more expensive than sub printing
but i suppose at least it does dark T's
wish i hadn't of bothered now spending all this money out

There is a market for white T's too.

Didn't you research before shelling out nearly £1,000?

yes but obviously as this thread says did i miss something????

i naturally assumed that i could sub dye on a normal cotton T
i even went out and bought a wholesale loads of cotton T's
i have a huge box sitting in my boat
(yes i live on a boat) so as you can imagine with a combo heat press
boxes of mugs
big box of T's
there isn't much room left for me and the wife lol

funny i wanted to start a business up doing this and try and earn some money in this really hard economic climate

but reading other posts in the last few days that isn't going to happen either :~

i just experimented with the transfer paper to try and print the background the same colour as the T
it didn't work very well
it's really hard to match the colour lol
you print it out and think thats not bad but once it transferred it is way different lol

i suppose transfers are ok if you have a full image and not just a small one

i done a sub T yesterday with a really nice flowery image for the wife and it has come out 100%

maybe one day someone will invent something for cotton T's that is just as good

i suppose the other option is to buy the proper transfers in from an external source??????

does anyone know where to get these from?

I haven't tried it myself, but Chromablast is supposed to print on cotton. See: http://www.listawoodtradesupplies.co.uk ... ategory=10

WoW! paper is very good and when you watch TMT printing and applying it, it all looks so easy BUT, WoW is just to expensive and fidly for me.

I find TMT too expensive on lots of things so I've stopped using them.

You certainly 'missed' quite a lot because all the info is here on this forum. A quick question would have saved you a few quid but hey, I've done the same as you many times, just don't own up to it :)

Good luck
